This project was conceived by the History Meeting House (Dom Spotkań z Historią) in Warsaw and realized by students of chosen Warsaw secondary schools: Katarzyna Bąkowska, Irena Gostkiewicz, Wiktoria Mylik, Sylwia Giermakowska, Aleksandra Kurczewska, Emilia Przystawko, Michał Szyszko, Marta Karpowicz. In the course of the project, the students prepared biograms and lists of reference works and films, and registered interviews with persons who used to know the selected figures of the Righteous. The project is co-financed by the Museum of Polish History in Warsaw within the programme "Patriotyzm Jutra" ("Patriotism of Tomorrow").

Wefor is our Website dedicated to the figures of moral resistance against totalitarianism. The virtual Gardens of Europe’s Righteous and the teaching section YouFor are the core of this project realized by Gariwo, the forest of the Righteous. Through the establishment of the European Day of the Righteous by the Brussels Parliament, Wefor has received its highest recognition.
