On March 6, 2024, at the Milan Garden of the Righteous Worldwide we celebrated this year's Day of the Righteous. After the speeches given by the representatives of the bodies of the Association for the Milan Garden of the Righteous (Elena Buscemi for the Municipality of Milan, Gabriele Nissim for the Gariwo Foundation and Giorgio Mortara for the UCEI) and the testimonies of the representatives of the Righteous honoured, we witnessed the laying of the new plaques dedicated to Altiero Spinelli, Vera Vigevani Jarach, Jurij Dmitriev and Narges Mohammadi.
We also handed out parchments for the new Righteous, who have been nominated by civil society: Father Gianantonio from Romallo, Mother Luisa Arlotti, Vesna Bosanac, Brother Biagio Conte, Caterina Giordano, Sister Maria Goglia, Patria, Minerva and Maria Teresa Mirabal, the crew of the transatlantic liner Rex, Arminio Wachsberger, Zabel Yessayan.
