Josè Manuel Barroso (Mediamax)

The President of European Commission José Manuel Barroso paied homage to the victims of Metz Yeghern, the Genocide of Armenians in which 1,5 million of Armenians died in 1915. He put down flowers and honoured the victims with a minute's silence.

In this occasion the Director of Genocide Museum Hayk Demoyan reminded the responsibilities of Turkey, born on the ashes of the Ottoman Empire, in the Armenian Genocide. Will European Union keep more caution in evaluating the accession of Ankara?
