Anna is a successful heart surgeon with a daughter in her teens, a careful husband and a proud father, Barsam, to whom she diagnoses a disease. Barsam refuses surgery, he wants his heart to stop beating in Armenia, his native land where he returns by leaving France forever. Anna, worried for his precarious health conditions, catches the first flight to Yerevan. It is the start of a long journey inside the history of the Armenian people, inside a private story, inside herself.
