We interviewed Rahab Wanjiru Mwatha, of the Green Belt Movement International - Europe, at the Garden of the Righteous worldwide in Milan, on the occasion of the ceremony of the Day of the Righteous of the humanity 2019, in which a plaque was dedicated to Wangari Maathai.
She talked about how Wangari, her great friend, changed the lives of many African women through the Green Belt Movement and made Kenya and other African countries greener by planting more than 30 million trees.
