"Rwanda lives on"

Gabriele Nissim interviews Yolande Mukagasana

The survivor to the Rwandan genocide tells about the building of a peaceful Rwanda 17 years after the worst atrocities. In the writer's opinion the youths are the future, it's to them that we must devote our efforts to educate for peace by creating a Garden of the Righteous in Kigali, where to honour those who risked their lives to save Tutsies or moderate Hutus and the people who fought for the truth and against genocide denial.
