On 23rd May 2010, the municipality of Seveso has named the Mulberry Garden in Verona Street after Giacomo Bassi, who saved several Jewish from deportation providing them fake documents.  

The mayor Massimo Donati and Roberta Miotto, the Chairwoman of the Association "Senza Confini" (“Without Borders”), attended the ceremony.
