On 2008 the city of Padua inaugurated in Terranegra a Garden of the Righteous of all genocides perpetrated since the Twentieth century.
Ten trees were planted in honor of those who fought against the Holocaust, the Armenian genocide, the Rwandan genocide and the ethnic cleansing in Bosnia.
The ceremony took place on 5 October and the mayor of Padua, the Righteous who were honoured and their families participated in it.
