Nizza Monferrato's Garden of the Righteous, created on September 19, 2020, in the Campolungo region, is a place of dialogue, encounter, and memory. It consists of a green area that is open to the public in June, with a greenhouse and illustrative panels dedicated to the exemplary figures who chose the good.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by a wide range of local personalities, including the Simone Nosenzo, Mayor of Nizza Monferrato, Ausilia Quaglia, Councillor for Culture and Education, prof. Vincenzo Pinto, Marco Lovisolo, town councilor and provincial councilor, Paolo Lanfranco, President of the Province of Asti, Member of Parliament Andrea Giaccone, the regional vice-president Fabio Carosso, the regional councilor Marco Gabusi, the quaestor of Asti Sebastiano Salvo, Captain Alessandro Caprio from the Carabinieri, the president of the Lions Club Canelli-Nizza Oscar Bielli, Nicoletta Fasano of ISRAT, the director of CISA Asti sud Giuseppe Occhiogrosso, and the president of the Parco Paleontologico Astigiano Livio Negro.

In collaboration with ISRAT and some volunteers, The Municipality of Nizza Monferrato has chosen 6 local figures to whom to dedicate the area. These are the partisan of the Resistance, Stefano Cigliano; Arturo Galansino, a doctor; Filippo Fabiani and Camillo Dal Pozzo, lawyers and prominent figures of the Resistance; Don Carlo Torello, a Salesian who worked on the reconstruction of Latina; and Don Giuseppe Celi, a priest.

The Garden does not honor the Righteous of all genocides, but only figures related to the local Resistance or religious figures that are closely related to the territory
