On 28 March 2019, the Garden of the Righteous was inaugurated at the Maurizio Pellegrini Secondary School in Massarosa.
The first tree was dedicated to Gino Bartali.
There were many middle school children, including the Mayor Matteo Giannecchini, who cut the ribbon, but also parents, teachers and citizens for the opening ceremony of this place, dedicated to men and women who knew how to choose, putting their lives at risk to make small big gestures of peace and humanity.
