On January 27, 2021, the Garden of the Righteous in the city of Lucca was inaugurated, with the formula of the widespread Garden. Trees already "adult" were titled, mostly monumental and present in the regional census.
On March 6, 2021, on the occasion of the Day of the Righteous, it was enriched with two new names to Jacqueline Mukansonera, to whom the beech, registered among the monumental trees located on the Walls of Lucca, Baluardo San Colombano, was dedicated, and Dora Pieruccini, to which the deodar cedar located on the Porta Elisa roundabout was named.
These plantings are added to the monumental plane tree outside Porta San Donato, on the ramparts of the urban walls, dedicated to Father Arturo Paoli and to the majestic cedar of the internal flowerbed of the roundabout in front of Porta Elisa (outside the walls), dedicated to Don Aldo Mei.
