On 12 March 2019, as part of the celebrations for the Day of the Righteous, the Garden of the Righteous was inaugurated in the Fregene - Passoscuro Institute.

After the greetings of the school director Isabella Ponzi and the municipal administration, the ceremony was attended by Antonella Maucioni, school manager of IIS Leonardo Da Vinci and Stefania Bragaglia.

The initiative, promoted by the Director of the Fregene - Passoscuro Institute Isabella Ponzi, has been realized thanks to the collaboration of the students of the agricultural institute, Leonardo Da Vinci, and of their principal Antonella Maucioni, inspirer of the event.

The first two Righteous honoured were Guadalupe Campanur and Chico Mendes.
