On 13 March 2019, the Garden of the Righteous of Castelbuono was inaugurated, in the Rimembranze’s Park, near to the San Paolo complex.
The project was promoted by the "F. Minà Palumbo" Institute that inaugurated, thanks to the collaboration of the municipalities of Castelnuovo and Isnello, the Forestry Company and the Polis Center, a Garden in Isnello.
The ceremony was attended by local authorities, students with teachers and parents and all citizens.
The first trees were dedicated to: Father Pino Puglisi, Pope John XXIII, Don Primo Mazzolari, Irena Sendler, Andra and Tatiana Bucci, Angelo and Teresa Tosi, Rocco Chinnici, Albino Badinelli, Pierantonio Costa, Giacomo Gorrini, Don Eugenio Bussa, Maria Vittoria Zeme, Daniela Pompei, Costantino Baratta, Vittorio Castellani, Giancarlo Puecher, Leonida Calamida, Mario Borsa, Stratos Valiamos and Ettore Castiglioni.
At the South Centre of Castelbuono was also set up an exhibition with the works made by the students of the "F. Minà Palumbo” Institute.
