On 5 March 2016 the Garden of the Righteous of Carpi was inaugurated. The Garden will rise all over the territory in the green areas of the schools. Every year the students will be involved in plating the trees in honor of the Righteous.
The inauguration took place in the green area of the junior high school "Odoardo Focherini". The mayor of Carpi, the Garden of the Righteous Committee, the parish priest of the Duomo, the Focherini family, the principal of Comprehensive School "Carpi Nord" and many student and citizens took part in the ceremony.
Two maple trees and two commemorative stones were placed in honour of two Righteous of Carpi: Father Dante Sala and Odoardo Focherini.
