On March 6, 2017, on the occasion of the Day of the Righteous, the Garden of the Righteous at the Comprehensive Institute in Boville Ernica was inaugurated.
Every 6 March the students,teachers and the citizenship will celebrate the Day of the Righteous with a ceremony in order to "honor and commemorate the people who, at some point in their lives, when faced with injustice and persecution, were able to cut off a chain of evil through an unexpected action and an assumption of responsibility."
To each Righteous honored is dedicated an olive tree. The first Righteous is Giorgio Perlasca, who presented himself as Spanish Ambassador in Hungary, thus saving 5218 Jews.
The opening ceremony was attended by the students and teachers of the Comprehensive Institute. local authorities and citizenship.
