On 15 April 2019, the Garden of the Righteous was inaugurated in Bollate, in the Park of Perlasca Street, a symbol dedicated to the memory of exemplary people of moral resistance.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by the Mayor Francesco Vassallo with the Councillors Lucia Albrizio and Salvatore Leone, in the presence of city authorities, associations and students of schools.
The wish expressed during the inauguration ceremony was "that this place can stimulate reflection on the responsibility that each of us has in building a world in which human rights are respected".
The first trees of the Garden were dedicated to Primo Levi, Clotilde Nardini, Nelson Mandela, Felicia Impastato and Costantino Baratta.
