Garden of Bisignano - ICS G. Pucciano

The Garden of Bisignano (CS), in Calabria, was born at the end of a civic education project with third-year students of Colina Castello'e elementary school.

"With the Garden of the Righteous - the promoters said - you are never too small to make a difference."

The inauguration took place on June 4, 2021. The first figures honoured were the following: Francesco Tirelli, an Italian Righteous honoured by Yad Vashem in 2008; Malala Yousafzai, Nobel Peace Prize Laureate in 2014; the climate activist Greta Thunberg; the lutist Nicola De Bonis.

Furthermore, a small tree was dedicated to the memory of the Unknown Soldier, in order to remember its 100th anniversary.
