Gariwo's event of Holocaust Memorial Day 2013

Fridtjof Nansen, Dimitar Peshev, Václav Havel and Samir Kassir: four theatrical tableaux dedicated to four Righteous. This is the title of the show organized by Gariwo in cooperation with the cultural association Ser Tea Zeit, and particularly designed for the students of the high schools of Lombardy.
Centerstage you'll see the exemplary figures that upon suggestion of Gariwo have been chosen by the Assembly of the Association for the Garden of the Righteous in Milan for the yearly ceremony at Monte Stella hill. In their memory next 6 March, for the European Day of the Righteous, we will plant four prunes and place four memorial stones.
18 actors and 3 musicians from different nationalities and different colleges will enliven the stage of Auditorium San Fedele during the matinée of Thursday 24 January. They will tell a wide student audience about the civil, political and social engagement that characterised the lives of Nansen, Peshev, Havel and Kassir.
The theatrical tableaux, entitled as: "Nansen, the explorer of souls", dedicated to the renouned Norwegian, "I donot forget", about the vice President of the Bulgarian Parliament Mr. Peshev, "Broad beans are broad beans, peas are peas", dedicated to late Czech President Havel, and "The Arab unhappiness", in honour of Lebanese journalist Samir Kassir, will be alterned with discussions among four men who daily exercise at bearing testimony: Antonio Ferrari, Corriere della Sera editorialist, Gabriele Nissi, chairman of Gariwo, Pietro Kuciukian, the honourary Consul of Armenia to Milan, and Francesco Di Maggio, producer and art director of Ser Tea Zeit.
The show will concluded by a dialogue opportunity in which students will be able to ask questions to the witnesses.
