Gabriele Nissim
Historian, journalist and writer, he directed many documentaries on the underground resistance against the communist regimes in Eastern Europe. He worked for the magazines “Panorama”, “il Mondo”, and with the daily newspapers ”Il Giornale” and the “Corriere della Sera”. Among other books, for Mondadori he published L’uomo che fermò Hitler, 1998, Il tribunale del bene, 2003 and Una bambina contro Stalin, 2007. In 2001 he founded the Gardens of the Righteous Worldwide Committee, which he presides. For his commitment on the subject of the Righteous he was awarded with many international acknowledgments among which the Ilaria Alpi Critics Prize for the tv documentary “Il giudice dei Giusti” in 2003 and the Special Mention of the Lombardy region for his activity for peace and on the Righteous in 2007. He suggested Milan's Communal Administration to create the Worldwide Garden of the Righteous, which was established in 2003 with the contribution of the Gardens of the Righteous Worldwide Committee and of the Union of the Italian Jewish Communities.
Robert Satloff
Historian and Director of the Washington Institute for Near East Policy, author of the book Among The Righteous. Lost Stories of the Holocaust’s Long Reach into Arab Lands. His expertise includes American policy, Diplomacy, Arab and Islamic politics, Arab-Israeli relations, Peace process and Democratization of the Middle East. The author and editor of nine among books and essays, Satloff has published his views on the Middle East on the main American newspapers like New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Washington Post and Los Angeles Times. The year 2007 witnessed the publication of the Italian version of Among the Righteous.

Raymond Kévorkian
A historian, he is project leader at the Université Paris VIII, Saint-Denis, Institut Francais de Géopolitique and the director of the UGAB's Nubar library in Paris. He has recently published the following essays: Le Génocide des Arménies, Paris Odile Jacob 2006; L’opposition de fonctionnaires ottomans au génocide des Armeniens. Approche comparéè des villes turques, in Jacques Sémelin, Actes du colloque de l’Istitut de Sciences Politique, Paris, Les Presses des Editions de SciencesPO, 2008. He compiled the entry “Le Genocide des Arméniens” of the Encyclopédie Universalis, 2006.

Svetlana Broz
The daughter of general Tito's eldest son's and a doctor, she brought relief into the hospitals of Bosnia from 1992 to 1995. She collected many testimonies on episodes of rescue and help across the various ethnic groups at war and poured them into the book Good People in Evil Times, Portraits of Complicity and Resistance in the Bosnian War. In 2006 she published the book Having What It Takes: Essays on Civil Courage. In 2000 she moved from Belgrade to Sarajevo, where she founded a section of the Gardens of the Righteous Worldwide Committee.
