European Day of the Righteous all over Italy

This year, too, European Day of the Righteous witnessed the participation of dozens Italian towns, which have sought to remember the deeds of those who have opposed genocide and persecutions.


​Toscanini: his love of freedom and courage to act

On 22 January, at Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome, a tree will dedicated to Arturo Toscanini "for his resistance against fascism and nazism and his aid to the persecuted Jewish musicians ". On 27 January the concert of the Palestine Orchestra conducted by the Maestro in 1936 will be performed again. We talked about it with Harvey Sachs, music historian and biographer of Toscanini.


Toscanini honoured as Righteous in Rome

On 22 January at noon, at Parco Auditorium della Musica in Rome, for  Holocaust Memorial Day, a tree will be planted in honour of the great musicians who helped many Jewish artists flee the Holocaust.
